Manaslu Expedition: 8,163 meters in the bag!

We would like to ask how it feels having put 8,163 meters in the bag! “Peak reached, we are already at C4“, this is the message sent by Marco this morning at 9:30. Without oxygen tanks, relying only on their strengths, Marco Galliano and Carlo Alberto Cimenti (Cala) have finally reached their target!

Keeping up with the messages left on Marco Galliano’s blog, we have been able to tell you all about this extraordinary adventure, from the beginning to the end: we saw them setting off, full of enthusiasm, to the conquest of Manaslu: we then left them struggling against bad weather conditions and after a number of failed attempts, we can now share their joy in reaching the Summit!
