Prototypes and materials undergo truly rigid testing. Analyses of the results allow the Ferrino design department to create extremely reliable products.

TESTS ON PROTOTYPES
· Ergonomics, anatomical fitting, comfort and thermal insulation.

· Resistance to wind, tearing and abrasion.
· Checking capacities and volumes.

Wind Tunnel
This is the toughest test that camping tents can undergo.
Inside a corridor, the tents are fixed with sandbags and subjected to gusts of wind that reach up to 150 km/h.

F.T.I. – French Textile Institute
An advanced measuring system that exploits a specially designed mannequin that allows researchers to record temperature values and their indirect variations in relation to the level of breathability towards the outside.

Refrigeration cell simulation
This test allows the recording of reactions of materials and users at extreme temperatures, verifying the actual correspondence between effective temperatures according to the parameters of the European standard EN 13537 and that tested by users.
